GS CORPORATION GS Corporation is a member of KINBOSHI GROUP, Japan. The founder of our group started our business in 1870 as a wholesaler of razor. In 1879 we started manufacturing of sickles, which received the evaluation of 'high quality products'. The founder also established a new company, manufacturing a new material, which brought a big change from the traditional way of producing in the sickles. We expanded our business to pruning shears, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, lawn mowers and garden tools. We produce push, electric and petrol engine lawn mower at the same time, and we are the first manufacturer producing these different powered lawn mower comprehensively in Japan. The market share is very big in the domestic lawn mower market in Japan. We always focus on the cutting machines and tools, and we have the strong commitment to sharp cutting on cutlery. GS Corporation was established as the representative of group manufacturers, Kinboshi Engei Kogyo Mfg. Co.Ltd.,and Kinboshi Ohshima Kogyo Mfg. Co.Ltd. and started operations by exporting powered brush cutters and hedge trimmers to European countries at the first stage. Subsequently we expanded our market to USA, Asia, Africa and Oceanian countries. In addition, we diversified into other related products like high quality professional lawn mowers, pruning shears, hedge shears and other gardening tools.
